Although Viśvarūpa was the son of the daughter (Racaṇa) of their eternal enemies the Daityas, the devatās accepted him as their priest in accordance with the order of Brahmā when they were abandoned by their spiritual master, Bṛhaspati, whom they had disrespected.
When the devatās had been rejected by their guru whom they disrespected, because there was no other alternative, they accepted Viśvarūpa, the son of a daughter of the Daityas, as their priest.
Thus ends the commentary on the Sixth Chapter of the Sixth Canto of the Bhāgavatam for the pleasure of the devotees, in accordance with the previous ācāryas.
