1. How many meals a day do you usually have? I usually have 3 or 4 meals a day.

2. What is your favorite food? My favorite food is chicken with mushrooms and sour cream and apples.

3. What do you usually have for lunch at school? I usually have cottage cheese and a banana for lunch at school.

4. Do you prefer fast food or home made food? Why? I prefer home made food as it is delicious and much healthier.

5. Would you like to take part in a TV cookery show? For example, cooking your favorite dish in a TV studio? Why? I think I’d like to take part in a cookery show because I’ve always wanted to be on TV. And I love cooking!

6. What would you recommend to a teenager who wants to keep fit? I would recommend this teenager to eat healthy food and do sport regularly.

2. Music and Arts

1. What kind of music do you usually listen to? I usually listen to rock and pop music.

2. What musical instrument would you like to learn to play?   I would like to learn to play the harmonica because it’s small and I like the way it sounds.

3. What clubs or societies can you attend in your school? I can attend a tourist club, a theatre club, a chess club and a science club.

4. How often do you have school concerts and performances? We have different performances at school almost every week.

5. What would you prefer: going to the theater or watching a film at home? Why? I would prefer to watch a film at home because my home is very comfortable, and I have a TV set with a very big screen.

6. What would you recommend to your friends who want to make their free time more interesting? I would recommend them to join some clubs at school and find new hobbies and friends.

1. How many lessons do you usually have? I usually have 6 lessons a day.

2. What subject do you find the most difficult?  I think the most difficult subject is … because I don’t understand it.

3. What is your favorite week day? Why do you like it? My favorite weekday is Tuesday because I have easy classes on this day.

4. What sports facilities do you have in your school?  In our school we have a gym, a tennis court, a football pitch and a swimming pool.

5. Do you think school uniform is necessary or not? Why do you think so? I think school uniform is necessary because it helps to discipline students. However, uniform may be uncomfortable.

6. What would you recommend your friends do to improve their English? I can recommend him to read English books and watch movies in English.

4. Modern film industry

1. How often do you go to the cinema? I go to the cinema once a week.

2. What kinds of films do you like most? I prefer horror films/comedies/drama/science fiction/romance/cartoons.

3. Why do you think many people prefer watching films at home? I think many people prefer watching films at home as it’s more comfortable and you can pause the film any time you want.

4. What do you like to do in your free time?  In my free time I like playing computer games, reading books and spending time with family and friends.

5. How can films in English help students improve their English? When we watch films in English, we can learn new words and improve our listening skills.

6. What film would you recommend your friends see and why?  I would recommend them to see … because the plot is really interesting and the actors are talented.

5. Reading habits

1. What kind of books do you like to read? I like to read fantasy/detective/science fiction/horror books.

2. Who is your favorite writer? My favorite writer is Pushkin.

3. How often do you borrow books from the library? I borrow books from the library once a week/month.

4. Why do you think teenagers are reading less and less now? I think teenagers are reading less and less now because there are a lot of modern gadgets that they like.

5. How can reading English books help students to improve their English? When we read books in English, we can learn new words and improve our reading skills.

6. What book would you recommend to your friend who wants to read something for pleasure and why? I would recommend him to read Harry Potter because I think that this book is amazing.

1. Who usually does the shopping in your family? My mom usually does the shopping in our family.

2. What can you buy in your nearest shopping center?   I can buy electronics, food and clothing in my nearest shopping center.

3. How often do you usually go shopping? I usually go shopping once a week.

4. Why are shopping centers so popular nowadays? Shopping centers are so popular nowadays because you can buy everything in one place.

5. Why do some people hate shopping? Some people hate shopping because they don’t want to spend money/they think it’s boring.

6. What time would you recommend that busy people go shopping? I would recommend busy people to go shopping in the morning because there are no queues in shops.
