The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the economic activity of public catering organizations in educational institutions is based on the processes of purchasing, storing and selling goods, as well as manufacturing their own products, that is, the implementation of commodity operations.

 For successful functioning of public catering enterprises in General education institutions, rationally organized accounting is required.

The subject of the study is the peculiarities of accounting for commodity transactions in public catering.

The object of the study is an individual entrepreneur Sobyanina Elena Ivanovna, who is engaged in providing hot meals in the school cafeteria..

The purpose of this work is to study the features of accounting in the organization of public catering Sobyanin I.E. and develop recommendations for its improvement.

The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of sources used, and appendices.

The introduction reveals the relevance of the selected topic, describes the purpose and objectives of the final qualifying work.

The first section describes the theoretical aspects of accounting for commodity transactions in public catering, including an overview of the regulatory system, the pricing procedure in public catering, and the document flow of goods.

The second section of the work is devoted to the characteristics and analysis of the financial and economic activities of the enterprise, the features of calculating products of its own production, documenting the movement of goods in the IP Sobyanin E. I.

The third section offers recommendations aimed at improving the accounting system for commodity transactions in the IP Sobyanina E. I. The conclusion summarizes the work done and formulates conclusions.

The volume of the final qualifying work is 68 pages. The illustrative material includes 4 figures, 31 tables, and 26 appendices. The list of sources used is represented by 33 names.
