V. Family traditions offer children a sense of security. Do you agree with that?

Yes, I agree. Family traditions unite family members. Spending time together help us understand that there are people who will always protect and support us.

Let’s talk about family relationship.

1.  What role does family play in each person’s life?

Family is very important for every person because it gives you a sense of stability and tradition, a feeling of having support and understanding. You feel secure when there’s a family behind you. In happy families parents are frank and honest with their children, they treat their children with respect and children in their turn learn how to treat other people and how to form relationship with their peers.

My home is the best place in the world for me and my family are the dearest people for me. I’m happy to have a close and friendly family.  I enjoy the honest and open relationships in my family. I can speak freely about my problems. I can always bring my friend home and my parents are very positive about it. I can say that my family is an emotional centre of my life. I always get support and understanding from my family. I can’t live without my family’s help and respect.

2. Are you on good terms with your parents and grandparents?

 We try to be understanding, caring and loving. I can rely on my relatives in any situation. We can discuss everything and try to trust each other.

3. What will you ask your British friend about his/her family relationships?

 Do you get on well with your family members?

 Do you talk over your problems together?

 Is there sometimes misunderstanding between you and your parents?

 Do you share your domestic chores?

Are you on good terms with your siblings?
