Problems of modern young people

       There is an analysis of the results of a sociological survey with the topic "Problems of modern youth" which was done in the period from April 28 to May 10, 2022. The first year students of the faculty of media communications have made such a sociological survey.

       The survey consisted of 10 questions, the purpose of which was to find out the opinion of the respondents about the most pressing problems that young people have to face. For example, the illegal distribution of drugs, smoking, alcohol addiction, dissatisfaction with the financial situation, the gap between generations, and much more.       The survey was conducted both face-to-face and online. For the first part of the respondents, the survey was sent out on social networks, for the second part, we interviewed them personally. Another part of the respondents managed to get into an interview on this topic.       1. The results of the first question showed that most of the survey participants (90.5%) consider it abnormal that young people more and more use drugs in our time.       2. Analyzing the results of the answers to the second question, we can conclude that the majority of respondents (83.5%) condemn young people who started smoking at an early age and became addicted to cigarettes, electronic cigarettes or vapes, as well as hookahs. It turned out that the rest of the participants (16.5%) are indifferent to this problem.       3. The results of the third question showed that a larger number of survey participants (76.4%) are outraged by the presence in their city of stores that sell alcohol and cigarettes to people under 18. Another part of the respondents (16.3%) voted for the option - "Rather no than yes." And the third part (7.3%) is indifferent to this problem.       4. When we asked about satisfaction with the salary of young people, the majority of respondents (78%) answered - "Rather no than yes." But the other part (22%) answered the same question in the following way - "More yes than no."

       5. The results of the fifth question indicate that the majority (80.5%) of the participants in the question consider education to be an important part of human life. The rest (19.5%) answered this question in this way - “More yes than not”, that is, “More important than not”.

       6. Based on the results of the sixth question, we can conclude that (45%) of the respondents believe that the relationship between parents and children does not currently correspond to the desired one, another (45%) believe that they do, (5%) of the respondents believe that relations between parents and children have really deteriorated now, the rest (5%) believe that relationships in the family have not changed for the worse.       7. One of the most interesting questions of youth received the following statistics: About (89.2%) of the participants answered that they support the desire of young people to study abroad, (8.3%) said that they do not care, (2.5%) expressed their opposition to young people leaving the country to study or work.       8. To question number eight (5%), respondents said with confidence that they are Internet addicts, (1.5%) expressed their doubts and believe that they are more likely not Internet addicts, others (1.5%) refrained from answering and said that they do not care, the majority (92%) believe that there is most likely an addiction.       9. Question number nine: (70.5%) of the respondents believe that everyone has equal opportunities to take the exam, (1%) refrained from answering, that is, they said that they do not care, (28.5%) of the respondents answered that now young people really have unequal opportunities for passing the exam and entering the university.       10. The result of the final question was as follows: about (45.5%) of the participants answered that they have a negative attitude towards feminism, another part of the respondents (45.5%) are not interested in this topic and they do not care, (9%) of the respondents have a positive attitude towards this modern trend.       Based on the study, the following conclusions can be drawn:       We conducted a survey on the most urgent topics of youth, during the study we interviewed people aged 18-23. To some questions, for example, about the problems of parents and children, equal opportunities for passing the exam, young people reacted especially violently, which suggests that these issues are particularly relevant among young people.
