Mustang Mach 1 1969

Launched in 1969, this classic American muscle car was manufactured till 1978 and then got discontinued, however, its 1969 model got stuck with every car enthusiast. Mach 1 was the successor of GT model which was discontinued because low sales in 1969. And it was instantly a hit with a whopping 72,458 units sold.

The car came out with a SportsRoof fastback body and had a standard 351cu Windsor 5.8L V8 engine with 335hp at 5200 rpm.

It came out with a 3-speed manual transmission, but an optional 3-speed automation transmission was added later on.

From its pinned hood to taped spoiler, everything was so muscular and aggressive that it appealed to a majority of men in the age bracket of 18 to 45, which was the reason for its explosive success.
