Course Objectives:

The course, organized by Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital and Biomate Implant Academy Center, is a comprehensive theoretical and practical introduction to advanced sinus and bone augmentation surgery for implant surgeons. The course consists of lectures, hands-on surgical training in sinus and other bone and soft tissue suturing techniques on fresh frozen cadaver heads & sinus model at the prestigious Continuous Education Lab at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital. The course will cover everything you need to know about Advanced Bone and Soft tissue Reconstruction Surgery taught by a faculty of eminent medical and dental experts.

Course Topics:

Morning 9:00-12:00, Day 1 May 26, 2018

● Lecture: Introduction of Implant laser surface treatment

● Manufacturing of Implant

● Hands On-Biomate Implant System

Afternoon 15:00-16:30 , Day 1 May 26, 2018

Course Director: Dr. Chen, Chen, Han Shen

● Anatomy & Physiology of maxillary sinus

● Anatomy of the posterior maxilla and the maxillary sinus.

● Bone block augmentation in the sinus

● SGBR(screw guided bone regeneration) in the sinus region for lateral and vertical augmentation
