1. ACTUALITY OF THEME. Soft tissue injuries of maxillofacial area and their treatment are an interesting and difficult part of oral surgery. Lack of awareness in the medical issues of the surgical treatment of such injuries lead to negative consequences in the form of disfiguring appearance of the patient, disorders such functions as speech, breathing, chewing, etc. That is why the dentist should know the features of the surgical treatment of soft tissue injuries of the face.
2. СONCRETE AIMS: 1.1. To analyze the results of clinical inspections of patients with the damages of soft tissues of maxillofacial area. 1.2. To propose the plan of treatment of patients with the damages of soft tissues of maxillofacial area of different localization. 1.3.To classify different types of damages of soft tissues of maxillofacial area. 1.4.To be able to select basic clinical displays at the damages of soft tissues of maxillofacial area depending on localization and damaging agent. 1.5.To provide temporal and permanent stop of bleeding and to conduct treatment of wounds of soft tissues. 1.6.To know clinical signs of bullet damages of soft tissues of maxillofacial area. 1.7.To get skills of diagnostics of bullet wounds of soft tissues of maxillufacial area. 1.8. To de able to organize the treatment of wounded person with the bullet damages of soft tissues of maxillofacial area and their complications at the stages of medical evacuation. 1.9.To develop creative capabilities in the process of clinical and theoretical research of problem questions of traumatology of maxillufacial area at war-time and under the conditions of extraordinary situations.
